Real quick before we get into this, isn’t it hilarious how artists write their bios in the third person?
It’s pretty funny when you think about it because here I am sitting cross-legged in my chair, 2:00 in the afternoon, still in my pajamas, and yet here I am pretending to be a professional and reading every sentence I write back to myself in a deep voice to try to sound more “legit.”

The unclaimed love child of Al Green, James Brown, more contemporarily, Bruno Mars, Allen Stone, and Paolo Nutini, Francis Aud is a singer, songwriter, bandleader and above all, modern day entertainer who writes and performs music that will cause you to engage in one or more of the following behaviors:
make a stank face (unless someone around you just farted)
bob your head vigorously (unless you have a neck injury then please don’t)
feel things in your loins (unless you were feeling something before in which case see a licensed medical professional)
make you want to dance (flamenco, merengue, breakdance, hell, bust out a Viennese waltz, I’m totally here for it)

After releasing his debut EP Tender Things in July 2017, Francis began to move away from his retro-soul beginnings and started writing and releasing what he likes to call, “FONK™ MUSIC.” Honing his own unique blend of funk and pop, from 2018 to the present he has released a slew of FONKY™ singles in preparation for his next large release.
) Francis is currently writing and recording new material, re-working his live show, practicing his best (embarrassing) dance moves, and plotting world domination through the release of new music come 2022.
